Stand and Salute

Out of my 10+ years in the military, I worked with a hand full of officers that I would go out of my way to serve, they just seemed to get what leadership was. How to relate to their subordinates and do what it takes to get the job done. Yesterday, the President of the United States presented the family of Lt. Michael Murphy, the Medal of Honor. I have been reading about him a lot over the past several days and I really would have loved to serve under an officer of his caliber. I can’t say the feelings that his actions in Afghanistan give me. I guess you have to have served to know. Lt. Murphy, I salute you Sir!
